Your vision.
Built exactly
as you imagined.
What working with us looks like
Our clients are as different as the spaces we build for them — corporations and homeowners, museums and houses of worship, design firms and first-time renovators. What they share is a refusal to settle. They want something unique made for them, not assembled from a catalog.
Custom Fabrication
When a standard solution won't do, the collab steps in and creates. Every project is a direct translation: your ideas, your life, your aesthetic, made real and made to last.
Collaborative Energy
Your ideas deserve a partner, not an interpreter. At the collab, the best work comes from the conversation, not just the blueprint.
Expert Facilitation
Great spaces don't happen by accident. We guide each project with the precision of a builder and the instincts of a designer, so every decision is intentional and every hour counts.
Craft-focused Precision
Big ideas, precise execution. The collab holds both at once, because a vision is only as strong as the details that bring it to life.
This is architecture born from its environment, and built for the long haul.
Meet the person behind your project
I'm Albie. Architect, maker, collaborator. I built this studio around a simple belief: that the most creative work happens when the person with the vision and the person with the tools are actually talking to each other. At Collab, that conversation never stops.
My path to architecture wasn't a straight line — and I think that's what makes the work better. I studied sculpture before earning my Masters in Architecture at Washington University, and that background in three-dimensional making shows up in everything I do — from the way I think about materials to the custom fabrication work at the heart of every project. I'm a Registered Architect in Missouri and Illinois, an AIA Member, NCARB Certified, and a SEED Network member.
I live in St. Louis with my wife and two dogs in a historic home I'm always improving. If you've read this far, I suspect we'd have a good conversation. I'd love to find out.
